Trim levels (Exterior)
Take your pick from a trim lineup that stands out for diversity. The Jeep Cherokee is available in the Latitude, Latitude Plus, Trailhawk, Limited, and Overland trims, plus the Latitude With Tech Connect Package, Altitude, and High Altitude limited editions. All run on aluminum wheels and include amenities such as LED taillamps, fog lights, and LED daytime running headlamps. Opt for trims like the Altitude and High Altitude to add 18-inch wheels and gloss-black exterior embellishments.
Engine (Power)
Keeping this SUV running smoothly is a 2.4-liter inline-four-cylinder MultiAir engine under the hood. However, a 3.2-liter 24-valve V-6 with stop-start technology is available as well. Both work in sync with a nine-speed automatic transmission to give you the best power possible.
Performance
You can choose from either front-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, though all Cherokees boast a Selec-Terrain Traction Management System to improve handling and control in even the trickiest of weather conditions. It lets you customize your driving experience with Auto, Snow, Sport, and Sand/Mud Modes. Most trims feature a normal-duty suspension for everyday driving habits, though the real treat for adventure-seekers comes in the rugged Trailhawk trim. This model boasts an off-road suspension, all-terrain tires, and a 32.2-degree departure angle.
Interior

With polished colors like black, beige, brown, indigo blue, or a mix of two adorning the interior upholstery, you're sure to find the 2018 Jeep Cherokee a stylish ride. Other standard amenities include an adjustable driver's seat, a split-folding rear reclining seat, and bucket seats. Opt for the Cold Weather Group to add heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a windshield wiper de-icer to help you on days when it's chilly out.

On the entertainment front, a Uconnect infotainment system brings forward an easy-to-use touch screen, satellite radio, and Bluetooth connectivity. If you choose the Latitude With Tech Connect Package, you'll find more than just a three-month trial of Amazon Music Unlimited and navigation at the forefront. This trim also gets you access to Amazon Echo Dot and Alexa for voice-command control, which you can use to lock your doors, check vehicle diagnostics, and more.

Safety Features

During the car-buying process, it's always smart to invest in a vehicle that's as practical as it is good-looking. The 2018 Jeep Cherokee doesn't disappoint in this category, thanks to features such as a theft-deterrent system, enhanced accident response system, rear backup camera, and three sets of supplemental side air bags.

Splurging on the Technology Group package might be worth your while too. This bundle adds driver-assist features such as adaptive cruise control, full-speed collision warning, park assist, and rain-sensitive windshield wipers to help you get from point A to point B without a hitch.
