<p>To give Jeep drivers all of the options and features they could want, Jeep is offering the Renegade in five different trim levels including the Trailhawk, Limited, Altitude, Latitude, and Sport.</p><p>The Trailhawk trim level is the perfect trim for those looking for a little off-road adventure. It comes equipped with an active low drive four-wheel-drive system and Rock Mode in its Selec-Terrain Traction Management System. The Lattitude and Altitude take it up a notch when it comes to style with striking exterior accents and additional storage solutions to provide extra cargo space. Engine (Power)
The four-wheel-drive trims come equipped with a 2.4-liter Tigershark Multiair 2 engine that provides the driver with amazing power and torque while maintaining reduced emissions. The engine outputs 180 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque and is paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission on both the Trailhawk and Limited. Those opting for the smaller engine option will still have 160 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque from the 1.4-liter MultiAir Turbo engine.
Performance
The 2018 Jeep Renegade can handle any terrain that you can throw at it. All models have a Selec-Terrain Traction Management System that allows you to choose settings for snow, sand, mud, and rock. Hills are no problem for the Renegade, either, since the Trailhawk comes equipped with hill descent control. This feature will maintain your speed and braking as you traverse more difficult and hilly terrain.
