Durango exteriors are offered in DB Black, Destroyer Gray, Octane Red, or White Knuckle. Even the new touch screen is rich with color. It has a Dodge theme with a racy color combination of black and red.

Trim Levels
Base SXT models have many modern standards including a power driver’s seat, new for 2022. A new Supernova applique adds to the refined look. Three rows of seating ensure you have plenty of space for everyone.
Dodge Durango GT models gain a power liftgate and a remote starter. The front seats and steering wheel are power-heated. There’s a special Apex applique.

The Dodge Durango SRT 392 has everything you need from all of the previous editions. Plus it has the advanced Hemi V8 engine. With 2022 Dodge Durango incentives, shoppers can afford more than they often realize.
Dash Technology
UConnect4 is standard on the 8.4-inch touch screen. The available 10.1-inch touch screen includes the new UConnect 5 system. This horizontal screen is angled toward the driver. The new system is 5 times faster than its predecessor.
Both infotainment systems have Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Bluetooth and other important features. Satellite radio connectivity and WiFi connectivity are also on board. Keyless entry, push button start, and a remote start system make life easy.
Performance Options
The Dodge Durango SXT, GT and Citadel trim levels are powered by a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine. It creates 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque.
A 5.7-liter HEMI V8 powers the Durango R/T. This engine delivers a best-in-class 360 horsepower. The torque rate is an excellent 260 lb-ft. On the highway, the eight-cylinder engine can use a four-cylinder mode to improve fuel economy.
The SRT has a 392-cubic-inch HEMI V8. It yields 475 horsepower and 470 lb-ft of torque. This model can run the 0-60 mph sprint in 4.4 seconds. You can call this the Dodge Durango Hellcat.
An 8-speed automatic sends torque to all four wheels for maximum capability. Rear-wheel drive adds sporty handling for this vehicle with excellent 50/50 weight distribution.
All-wheel drive is standard on the SRT 392. This improves off-road performance. It even claims a best-in-class towing capacity of 8700 pounds.
Durango R/T Hemi Orange
This is the first year for this remarkable model. The new vehicle has orange and gunmetal hood stripes. It has midnight gray and orange badging.
Exterior colors include White Knuckle, Diamond Black, Destroyer Gray and an exciting Octane Red. The taillamps are satin black. The wheels are 20-inch Black Noise alloys.
Inside all 3 rows, the instrument panel, armrests, doors and more are stitched in orange for a handsome look. The front has SRT seats, and the second row has captain’s chairs. A monochromatic logo is embroidered on the seatbacks.
HEMI Orange Plus adds lots of luxuries like a 19-speaker Harman Kardon system, a power sunroof and additional driver assistance. The HEMI Orange Tow N Go trades up to 20-inch Lights Out wheels and orange Brembo brake calipers. Making it more refined, it has a Bilstein high performance suspension.
Safety and Driver Assistance
The Dodge Durango comes with up to 60 safety or security features. In addition to its 7 airbags, a blind spot monitor is standard. This watches the sides to reduce the chances of an accent.
Other important features include the available crash mitigation brake with the forward collision warning. Adaptive Cruise Control can slow, stop and go with traffic. A rear cross path detection system is a good partner for the rearview camera.
