How is the ProMaster EV Different from the Standard Lineup?
With up to 200 miles of driving range, the ProMaster EV is a viable replacement for gas-powered work vans. It has the excellent features and technologies offered on the regular model, but it does its work without gasoline. This electric van comes in the same three trim levels: Tradesman, SLT and SLT+.
Fleet managers will be pleased that the same low floor has been maintained despite the addition of the electric battery pack. This allows the Ram electric van to claim the same best-in-class measurements as its gas-powered counterpart.
ProMaster EV cargo vans can handle 3,170 pounds of payload. The electric Step Van can handle up to 2,876 pounds. If you want to shop smart, you can place an order for the ProMaster electric van and soon be paying yourself back (in gas savings) for your purchase. Contact us.
Why Would You Choose the Ram Van Over Rivals?
A major selling point for the ProMaster, many different sizes allow shoppers to find the ideal size without having too much or too little space. You can find best-in-class cargo volume, best-in-class maximum cargo width, and best-in-class wheel-well cargo width. Payload ratings include a best-in-class 4,680 pounds.
Furthermore, all Ram vans have a best-in-class low cargo-load floor height to help make loading and unloading a lot easier. Likewise, a low step-in height helps out the driver and other workers.
Additional exclusive class features include the standard front-wheel drive, 9-speed automatic transmission, Intelligent Speed Assist and Traffic Sign Recognition.
Always ready with helpful choices, there’s a white noise backup alarm in addition to the louder normal backup alarm. Plus the digital rearview mirror, which assists with blind spots, is available on the 2026 Ram ProMaster in Phoenix.
What are the 2026 Ram Van Engine Choices?
The ProMaster has a smart Pentastar V6. This trusted engine delivers 276 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. It allows the van to handle enormous loads and to handle towing. A TorqueFlite 9 speed automatic transmission helps make the most of every drop of fuel.
Ready to work hard, the EV electric powertrain produces 268 horsepower, almost as much as the standard engine. However, its real strength comes from its 302 lb-ft of combined torque.
Both powertrains are paired with front-wheel drive. Handling is as familiar as if one were driving a modern SUV.
Does the Ram Van Have Advanced Technology Features?
This van offers lots of safety features, including parallel and perpendicular Park Assist. A new ParkSense function can trigger braking to prevent a fender bender. The rear cross-traffic alert helps with other parking lot dangers.Intelligent Speed Assist is a new standard, along with Traffic Sign Recognition.
To help prevent side collisions, you can get Lane Keep Assist, a blind spot monitor, and Crosswind Assist. To help with long drives, there’s Adaptive Cruise Control and Active Drive Assist. For practical help in forward collision scenarios, there’s a warning with an emergency brake assist on the new Ram ProMaster in Arizona.
Ready to assist drivers with navigation, information, and hands-free phone capability, it provides a long list of possible connectivity features, a split-screen touchscreen, and other dash tech tools. You have access to Android and Apple connectivity tools as well as Amazon Alexa. Drivers can use TomTom navigation to help stay out of busy traffic on their errands.
