A delicious looking brunch plate.Brunch is the latest food trend that combines the best tastes of breakfast and lunch. The city of Phoenix has hopped onto this delicious trend, and these are some of the best brunch places in the area.

Morning Glory Cafe

The Morning Glory Cafe specializes in farm-to-table dining. This brunch destination is surrounded by over five acres of fresh and colorful gardens and beautiful views of the nearby mountain. Brunch items include homemade muffins, seasonal omelets, and freshly made sausages. Morning Glory is also bike and pet-friendly. They host frequent events including family yoga days, bath bomb workshops, and gardening courses.

Windsor

Windsor is situated in the historical area of Phoenix and has quickly become a local favorite because of its unique menu items and small hometown feel. Brunch menu items include the Windsor eggs benedict, southern style sausage and gravy, and the chef’s feature. The chef’s feature changes from day to day and includes locally sourced and fresh ingredients. Windsor also has drink specials during the brunch meals.

Virtu Honest Craft

Virtu Honest Craft attracted a lot of attention from the moment it opened its doors in 2013. This restaurant has been named one of the Best New Restaurants in the city by Esquire Magazine. Virtu puts a modern twist on Mediterranean cuisines. Menu items are freshly made daily and come from the most respected fish markets and farmers in the Phoenix area. The menu items are continually changing in order to serve the freshest of ingredients. Brunch is available every weekend in the cozy dining room or on the outdoor patio.

Postino’s

Postino’s translates to postman in the Italian language. This is because the first Postino’s restaurant location was in a historic post office. Today, the brand has built itself to include multiple locations by offering locals a place to dine that is rich in culture, encourages connection among community members, and gives people a delicious menu that is authentic. Brunch is available every Saturday and Sunday until 1 p.m. and includes items like walnut toast, smoked salmon, and French toast with fresh strawberries. They also have bellinis, mimosas, and drip coffee available.

La Grande Orange Grocery

Do not let the fact that La Grande Orange Grocery refers to itself as a grocery place stop you from trying out their delicious brunch. La Grande is a breakfast and organic coffee bar that sells only fresh and organic food and drink items. The same concept carries over to the brunch menu including items like French pancakes, avocado toast with goat cheese, and tuna salad sandwiches.

The menu caters to all dietary needs and preferences with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free menu items available. Diners can also call ahead for curbside service if they want to enjoy the fresh foods of La Grande without dining in.

The concept of brunch has hit the Phoenix area and residents now have many options available. Any of these highly rated restaurants are a great option for trying out brunch in the city.
