Waterslide

With 16 rides and attractions, Golfland SunSplash is Mesa’s premier family fun destination. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, searching for a way to cool off from the heat, or just enjoying some fun in the sun, this amusement park has it all. If you’re planning a trip to Golfland SunSplash, here are some tips and suggestions to help you get the most out of your visit.

Pulse-Pounding Water Slides

If you’re a thrill seeker, you’ll fall in love with Golfland SunSplash’s array of water slides. The Double Dare is a notable option, standing seven stories tall and allowing the brave to plummet 70 feet in just eight seconds. Other options to ride without an inflatable include the Bonzi Speed Slides, where you can race your friends, and the Dragon Tail Slides, which twists and turns its way over a 250-foot track. Don’t forget about the Cauldron, which drops you four stories into a huge bowl and lets you spin your way to the opening in the bottom.

Exciting Inflatables-Only Water Slides

Grab an inflatable raft and head to one of Golfland SunSplash’s six inflatables-only water slides. All six of these options provide an exciting time, sending you plunging up to seven stories into a watery abyss below. You’ll feel the g-forces with up to three of your friends on each of these rides, such as the seven-story Stormrider or the 70-foot-tall Thunder Falls.

Relaxing Options

If water slides are a bit too much excitement for your liking, Golfland SunSplash also has several other attractions to suit your tastes. The 450,000-gallon wave pool cools you down as you bob in the water, or you can grab an inner tube and head for the slow-moving currents of the lazy river. Grab a snack at the concessions stand between relaxation sessions or adventures to quell your hunger and give you the energy to head back out to the water.

Admission and Pricing

Admission to Golfland SunSplash is $33.99 for guests 48 inches and taller, $28.99 for guests 3 years of age or older and 47 inches tall or less, $28.99 for seniors (60+), $5.99 for toddlers (12 to 35 months), and free for children under 12 months. If you’re a frequent visitor or bargain hunter, make sure to grab a season pass. For just $69.99 ($89.99 after May 1), the pass nearly pays for itself in just two visits.

If you’re planning an entire day at Golfland SunSplash, you might also consider a private cabana. Starting at $79, you’ll get a waterside cabana that includes six chairs, a table, a ceiling fan, storage lockers, and a charging station for all your portable devices. For bigger crowds and a bit of relaxation for adults, there’s nothing better.

Hours and Location

Golfland SunSplash is open from May 18 to Sept. 28 for the 2019 season. Hours vary depending on the date, but the water park opens every day starting at 11 a.m. and closes at either 5, 6, or 10 p.m. The park is located at 155 W. Hampton Avenue.

Whether you want a leisurely float on the lazy river or a heart-pounding ride down a mammoth water slide, Golfland SunSplash is the one-stop destination for family fun in Mesa this year.
