A group of people participating in an organized running event.If you’re looking for something to do this November in Gilbert, Arizona, you’ll find no shortage of events. From street festivals to live music, there’s plenty to do in the area during the month of November.

Gilbert Off the Street Festival

The Gilbert Off the Street Festival takes place on November 2nd starting at 4 p.m. and goes until November 3rd at 7 p.m. Head to the Heritage District located in downtown Gilbert to see street performers, live music, crafts, and artisan vendors, food trucks, and kids’ activities. Over 50 different restaurants from Gilbert will be represented in addition to local wineries and craft breweries for those who are of age. Friday night will feature a happy hour from the vendors where you’ll be able to try appetizers and tapas, while Saturday features the best eats and drinks from each vendor.

Downtown Concert Series

The Downtown Concert Series takes place on November 8th, where you’ll enjoy live music from the Water Tower Plaza. The concerts are free and show off some of the best bands in the area in addition to a variety of musical genres. You can bring your own picnic or try local food from one of the food trucks or downtown restaurants. This is a fun way to spend a cheap evening with family or friends.

Gilbert Glow Run

The Gilbert Glow Run takes place on November 16th in the evening, and people of any athletic ability or age is welcome to join. Whether you’re a walker or a runner, this will be an event you don’t want to miss, as you take place in a fun run full of black lights, glow sticks, and good music. The run is not timed, meaning you can join whether it’s your first run or you’re a marathon runner. This event is a great way to get exercise in and see how you like doing races before you commit to something bigger.

Gilbert Days Parade

On November 17th, the Gilbert Days Parade takes place in the Gilbert Heritage District. This is a long-standing tradition that many businesses and families in Gilbert have been participating in for years. The parade honors the heritage of Gilbert and involves many local organizations, businesses, schools, and special interest groups. Get here early in the morning to get a prime spot before the parade begins at 8:30 a.m.

Annual Holiday Water Tower Lighting Concert

The Annual Holiday Water Tower Lighting Concert is an event you don’t want to miss this November. It takes place on the 29th at 6 p.m. at the Water Tower Plaza and welcomes the holiday season to Gilbert. After the lighting of the Gilbert Water Tower, you can join the mayor and hundreds of other families in Gilbert with a concert downtown.

There will also be local food trucks to try, vendor booths to buy crafts from, and carriage and horse rides throughout the streets. It’s a fun way to start the holiday season and get in the mood for all the upcoming festivities.
