Bar display of fruits and vegetables that could be used in juices. It’s important to stay hydrated and cool when you live in a city like Phoenix, Arizona. The dry desert air offers plenty of clear days, but when the heat is up in the afternoon nothing beats getting something cool and nutritious at a juice bar. That’s why the Phoenix area has plenty of options when you’re looking for juice and smoothies, and a few of them stand out as the best of the bunch.

Original ChopShop

Original ChopShop is an Arizona chain with several locations throughout the Phoenix metro. Most locations are open all day from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and each location offers healthy, nutritious, and tasty foods and drinks. Their big draw for food is the protein bowl, which includes vegan options, and for juice, they have a long list of unique combinations that combine all kinds of fruits and vegetables. You can also try one of their protein shakes or eat one of their fruit bowls or parfaits.

Boba Tea Company

The Boba Tea Company is a bubble tea chain that started out in Albuquerque and has recently started expanding into the Phoenix metro. They serve boba tea exclusively, but they offer a surprising amount of variety. You can start with white, green, or black tea; you can combine it with strawberry, chocolate, non-dairy creamer, pineapple, and other fruits; you can add ice, blend it in, or use carbonated water; and you can add some extra caffeine along with two scoops of bobas or other “bottoms.” Their stores are usually open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The Street

This cafe is in the Dobson Square Asiana Market over in Mesa. The Street offers some casual Asian lunch options like ramen, and it lives up to its names thanks to all the graffiti art scrawled over all the walls. The Street’s drinks include a full range of tea and smoothie options, and you can get yours with or without milk or boba. They also have a specialty called diamond ice, a bowl of chopped-up fruits, sweet red beans, condensed milk, and shaved ice. The Street is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Pita Bistro

Pita Bistro is a Mediterranean restaurant with two Phoenix locations. Their menu includes several vegan and gluten-free options, including the main wraps and bowls, but you can also get a classic gyro or chicken shawerma. They also offer juices and smoothies they make themselves, and they accept delivery and takeout orders. If you want to get something at the Pita Bistro, they’re usually open from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

In a hot city like Phoenix, it’s no wonder that boba tea, smoothies, and juices are so easy to find all throughout the city and its suburbs. You won’t have any trouble finding a place that serves tasty drinks with a unique blend of fruits and vegetables, but if you want the best the city has to offer you should take a moment to find the nearest location of one of these four restaurants.
